Ninh Binh to Host TAFI’s Prestigious Annual Event
AVS is proud to announce its participation in the 2025 Annual Convention of the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI), scheduled to take place from January 17 to 20 in Ninh Binh, Vietnam. With the theme “Tourism for Tomorrow: Protecting the Planet,” this landmark event underscores the growing importance of sustainable tourism while highlighting Ninh Binh’s untapped potential as a travel destination.
The convention, which will bring together approximately 400 top travel agents from India, represents a significant opportunity to promote Ninh Binh and Vietnam to a burgeoning Indian travel market. According to Ajay Prakash, President of TAFI, Ninh Binh was chosen not only for its breathtaking natural beauty and rich cultural heritage but also because it remains a relatively undiscovered gem for Indian tourists.
“Vietnam is a beloved destination for Indian travelers, but Ninh Binh stands out as a lesser-explored region with immense charm. This event will serve as a platform to showcase its unique offerings to the Indian travel community,” Prakash stated.

The Consul General of Vietnam in Mumbai, Le Quang Bien, emphasized the alignment between the conference theme and Vietnam’s commitment to sustainable tourism. “This event not only strengthens the ties between India and Vietnam but also highlights our shared dedication to preserving natural and cultural heritage for future generations,” he said.
