Ninh Binh: The Inland Ha Long Bay

1. Location
Located in the Red River Delta, 91 km south of Hanoi, Ninh Binh is bordered by Hoa Binh, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, and Thanh Hoa, nestled between the Red River and Ma River.
2. Getting to Ninh Binh
The transportation system, both by water and road, is very convenient. It takes just 2 hours by car from Hanoi. The Thong Nhat train from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City also stops in Ninh Binh town.

- Hoa Lu: The ancient capital of Vietnam, featuring temples from the Dinh and Le dynasties, centuries old.
- Tam Coc: Known for its massive limestone pillars rising from rice fields.
- Bich Dong Pagoda, Phat Diem Cathedral, and Cuc Phuong National Park.

Bai Dinh Pagoda:

Trang An
Visiting this ancient land without stopping by Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex would be a major oversight. With its breathtaking scenery, Trang An is a UNESCO-recognized cultural heritage site, attracting many visitors daily.

Van Long Nature Reserve:

Cuc Phuong National Park:
The largest national park in Vietnam, home to many rare plant and animal species. Located deep in the Tam Diep mountain range, it features lush tropical rainforests year-round.
Am Tien Cave (Tuyet Tinh Coc):
Known as Tuyet Tinh Coc, Am Tien Cave is famous in Ninh Binh. Located within the Hoa Lu ancient capital complex, much of Am Tien Cave’s area is submerged and surrounded by cliffs.
Thung Nham Bird Park:
If you love nature and wildlife, you will be enchanted by Thung Nham Bird Park. It is not only a fascinating natural scene but also home to about 40 species of birds with around 50,000 individuals.
